Salary: £ 90,000 (full-time) Ref: LB 506433 Job Brief: This large and respected domestic and commercial service organisation is undergoing a period of significant transformation in order to meet the challenges of a highly-competitive market. The organisation wants to appoint a Head of Internal Communications to develop a wide-reaching employee communications and involvement programme for one of its largest business units. You will be required to create a visionary, integrated strategy that both aligns with the existing business needs and supports the future growth and development of the organisation. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the successful candidate will need to be a highly-experienced internal and change communications specialist with a track record of delivering robust communications strategies to a large and diverse workforce. Essential will be your ability to engage with and influence board-level management so you will need both presence and commercial credibility. You will also need a comprehensive knowledge of modern internal communications practise and channels and their strategic application. Thought leadership, the ability to network internally and externally, sensitivity and team management are all prerequisite skills. It’s a business critical role in an extremely high-profile organisation experiencing unprecedented change, so you will need a proven track record of internal and change communications achievement.
