Salary: £ Negotiable (full-time) - 12 months maternity cover

Job Brief:

An excellent opportunity for a talented, experienced Internal Communications professional to join the corporate communications team of a global multinational.

Working at the group’s riverside headquarters, and supporting the Head of IC, you will be expected to hit the ground running from day one. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a range of print and electronic tools and channels, including a bi-monthly executive level magazine, twice-yearly staff briefings and a rapidly-evolving intranet site - as well as proactively contributing to a global program of employee engagement activities for the Groups 55,000 employees world wide.

You will exercise considerable editorial judgement so superior writing skills coupled with a strong commercial sense and the ability to think strategically are a given. You will also have excellent project management and print production skills, a solid appreciation of print and web design and a high level of comfort with technology (including familiarity with social media tools).

You will of course be accustomed to challenging work schedules, accurate and transparent use of budgets and briefing and managing external suppliers.

The role holder will be a key player in an energetic and supportive corporate communications team – so your ability to inspire the trust and confidence of your colleagues, and business managers outside the function, will be important. Bags of energy and a sense of fun a definite bonus.

From end May 2008 for 12 months maternity cover.
