They are fully in support of the need for staff development and engagement and are committed to ensuring that they have the right communications resources to support this objective. As part of this, they are now looking to increase their internal communications offering, with this role of Internal Communications Business Partner. As a huge multi-faceted organization, an internal communications specialist can expect to be dealing with a range of diverse audiences, from office and administration staff to senior leaders, and railworkers. In your role as Internal Communications Business Partner, you will be expected to act as a consultant for project teams and departments, advising on all aspects of their strategic and tactical communications planning, including their key audiences, messages, communications channels and evaluation processes, to ensure successful delivery of key campaigns throughout the network. The successful candidate will be an established Internal Communications professional, who has worked in a business partner model. You will have a proven record of developing and delivering communications strategies and tactical plans within a complex organization, and previous experience of stakeholder management. An excellent communicator, you will be comfortable dealing with key opinion leaders and have the credibility to influence and negotiate with senior management. You will need experience across a whole suite of channels, including online, digital, print and face to face. Strong editorial and knowledge management skills are essential.
