Outline
This one-day course will enable participants to
- Prepare for media interviews
- Brief and prepare key spokespeople
- Hone messages
- Practise television and/or radio interviews, including 1:1 interview experience in front of camera
- Practise soundbites
- Improve body language, dress and appearance
- Improve delivery
Groups of 6-8 delegates per trainer are recommended for best results. Two trainers can be used for larger groups. Based at a training centre or at the client’s premises.

About the trainer
Paul Wastell is a PR consultant, speechwriter and trainer with experience on both sides of the PR fence. He is a former television producer, director and journalist with 22 years' experience working in the public and private sector.
He trains chief executives, senior managers, ministerial speechwriters, parliamentary advisers, corporate and public sector communications professionals. He set up PWC PR and Marketing (www.pwc-pr.co.uk), an independent consultancy, in 1999.
