Outline
This one day course will explore all aspects of the client/supplier relationship, including:
- putting together an intial pitch brief
- setting parameters/expectations and measurement matrices
- personal relationships and building trust
- review of performance
- escalation procedures when things go wrong
- changing suppliers the ethical way
- financial issues
- ‘what not to do’ tips from both parties
The course will consist of theory but also hands-on exercises and some role-playing may take place. This will not be an agency (or corporate) bashing session but an attempt to improve relationships to the benefit of all.
Groups of six to eight delegates per trainer are recommended for this course, which will take place at the trainer’s premises in Islington, north London

About the trainer
Nick Andrews is a former chairman of the CiB and has spent nearly 20 years in internal communications at one of the country’s leading internal communications agencies. He has worked with a variety of clients in the process and has got on with most of them!
Nick will be joined during the training session by a representative or two from large blue chip companies who have experience of working with agencies and other suppliers.
