Fine food, find wine, fine friends and, er, fine dancing - Thursday evening’s festivities had it all.

Immediate past chairman Nick Andrews presented Twish Tweddle of Anglia with the CiB regional award and Secretary General Kathie Jones received the chairman’s award, and a standing ovation, that reduced her to tears.

Purses and wallets were opened in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital – the outgoing chairman’s chosen charity.

Surpassing previous years, a total of £635 was raised so thanks to all.

Barry and Yvonne then treated delegates to an innovative display of ballroom dancing (?). “You had to be there” is a cliché, but well, you did!

The evening then turned into night with delegates demonstrating more conventional dance moves.  And there was much communications planning in the bar until the early hours.

Visit the gallery from last night to see more.
