| This course is for anyone with responsibility for managing the internal communications around a change programme - particularly those who want to use communications to drive change.
Benefits
A practical course, full of hints and tips, designed to highlight the importance of internal communications and employee engagement during periods of change - from strategy to practical execution.
Objectives
This course will show you how to:
- Approach change from a communications perspective
- Align your strategy to the change objectives
- Broaden your scope of influence
- Get things moving
- Follow 15 steps to successfully communicating change
Outline
Most organisational change programmes fail. This happens for a number of reasons - lack of leadership commitment, poor planning, death by a thousand initiatives. But often it's a failure to engage the workforce with the change - to get their buy-in. And this usually boils down to poor communication.
This course begins with a look at the conditions for effective change and goes on to explain how effective and involving communications can actually drive the change. Sections include managing the message, creating the infrastructure, harnessing the people and shaping the culture.
