Thinking of using podcasts as a communications tool? This one-day course will demystify the whole process. You will find out what podcasts are, how you can use them effectively, and how you can produce or commission them.
This one-day course will look at planning, scripting and recording using digital recorders or direct to computer.
Interviewing techniques will also be discussed and delegates will be tasked with producing a finished podcast by the end of the day.
It will also look at online editing techniques using commercial software and how you can add backing music and sound effects.
The course will also look at the technicalities of producing MP3 files suitable for podcasting and streaming, plus how to produce the supporting RSS files.
If you have a laptop and/or recording equipment you are encouraged to bring it on the course, although the recording equipment is not essential as it can be provided.
